Ballito Beach Rides offers two-hour guided horse rides through indigenous bush trails and along a private beach just north of Ballito. Rides are available Monday to Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday at 8:00–10:00 and 15:00–17:00. Closed on Thursdays. Suitable for beginners and experienced riders.

To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience, all riders are required to follow a few basic guidelines. Please wear long pants and closed shoes—preferably with a small heel—for comfort and safety. Riders must be completely sober; no alcohol or substance use is allowed before the ride. There is a maximum weight limit of 105 kg and a minimum age requirement of 6 years. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Riders should also be physically capable of mounting, dismounting, and controlling the horse with basic instruction. If you have any medical concerns or special considerations, please include them in your booking form so we can make the necessary arrangements.

GEAR UP
Enjoy a one-hour guided quad bike adventure covering approximately 10km of scenic trails. No previous riding experience is required, making it suitable for both first-time and experienced riders. Riders must be 12 years or older to operate their own quad bike, while younger children are welcome to join as passengers.

To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience, all guests are required to follow a few basic guidelines. Closed shoes are compulsory for all riders and passengers, and helmets will be supplied before the ride. Riders must be at least 12 years old to operate their own quad bike, while children under 12 may participate as passengers. Children under 6 may ride as passengers free of charge. No previous quad bike experience is necessary, as a safety briefing and basic riding instructions will be provided before departure. Please arrive at least 15 minutes before your scheduled ride to allow enough time for check-in, helmet fitting and the safety briefing. If you have any medical concerns, special requirements or nervous riders in your group, please include the details in your booking form so the necessary arrangements can be made.
